Erum Kistemaker, managing partner of Kistemaker, was recently honored in the 23th annual edition of the Volusia/Flagler Business Report’s “Influential Women in Business.”
According to the publication owned by the Daytona Beach News-Journal, each year they “recognize some of the many women in Volusia and Flagler Counties who are making a difference, both professionally and in their community.
Over the years, more than 200 women have received this honor, some more than once.
The honorees through the years have ranged from small business owners to executives of major corporations as well as nonprofit executives and local government, education, chambers of commerce and trade association leaders.
Many have achieved great success in their careers while also raising a family. Many, including some of this year’s honorees, also overcame tremendous adversity and in some cases personal tragedies.
The one thing all have in common, in addition to being accomplished, is a commitment and passion for bettering the lives of those around them as well as the community.”
The women, including Erum, were honored at a special “Influential Women in Business Luncheon” held on Sept. 27 at The Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach.
