Erum Siddiqui Kistemaker is the Managing Attorney of Kistemaker Business Law Group. She has a diverse and unique legal background which gives the Kistemaker Business Law Group the distinct advantage to truly understand the expectations and needs of the firm’s clients.
She is licensed to practice law in multiple jurisdictions, states, and countries, and has worked in a variety of legal settings around the world. She has concentrated her practice in Community Association (Condo/HOA), Real Property and Business Law for over 25 years.
Attorney Kistemaker has worked for some of the largest, leading and most respected International, national, and local law firms; government agencies; and as In-House Counsel. She is licensed to practice in Florida, New York, England, and Wales, and previously worked as a Solicitor (lawyer) for one of United Kingdom’s largest International law firms, Wragge & Co., practicing in the areas of International corporate litigation and property law.
Litigation Experience: Attorney Kistemaker’s litigation experience was gained as an Assistant State Attorney. During her time as an ASA, she had the privilege to litigate over ten (10) jury trials and has since litigated numerous Civil Cases (including foreclosures) to successful conclusion (including obtaining numerous judgments).
Dispute Resolution: Erum has arbitrated and mediated numerous cases to successful conclusion.
Community Association/Real Property/Business Law: Erum’s passion for Community Association Law (Condo/HOA), Business, Real Property, Development/Construction, started while working as an Associate for Carlton Fields, one of the nation’s largest and leading law firms and as Associate General Counsel with ICI Homes (one of the largest private developers and builders in the nation). Erum continues to concentrate her practice in these areas, with a concentration and specialization in Community Association Law & Litigation by assisting Associations and Individuals with everything from collections, covenant enforcement, amendments, legal opinions, litigation and dispute resolution through the Boutique Law Firm of Kistemaker Business Law Group.
State of Florida: Attorney Kistemaker has had an increasingly active role in new and changing legislation regarding Florida condo law – being featured as a presenter for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation webinars and state-wide panels educating constituents about multifarious topics including, the latest legislative changes, elections, collections, foreclosures, etc. Notably, Attorney Kistemaker serves on several Task Forces at the legislative level, including the Senate Bill 4D/154 Substantive Legislative Committee Task Force and Board Certification Course Committee. She also serves as Chair of the Education Sub-Committee/Task Force for the Condominium & Planned Development Law Committee of the Florida Bar.
