Kistemaker Business Law Group Adds New Legal Assistant

By Erum S. Kistemaker

Jillian Norko, a participant in Kistemaker Business Law Group’s Summer Internship program this year, has started as the Firm’s new Legal Assistant this fall, according to a news release. Ms. Norko is a student at the University of Miami, majoring in political science and communications with a minor in sports administration on the pre-law track.

“We are thrilled to welcome another of our Summer Interns back to the firm,” said Erum Kistemaker, the Firm’s Managing Attorney and Shareholder. “The program, which is now in its 14th year, has been quite productive for us — and we are looking forward to next year’s students!”

Ms. Norko has known she wanted to be a lawyer since her freshman year of high school and hopes to pursue a career in sports and entertainment law. At the University of Miami she is a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law fraternity, with involvement in Zeta Tau Alpha as well. She has earned President’s Honor Roll recognition with a 4.0 in each of her past two semesters, and will be graduating a year early.

“I am very grateful for this opportunity to get hands-on experience interning with Kistemaker Business Law Group and so excited to start as the firm’s new legal assistant,” she said.
